Sonny's Famous Steaks opens for business...

November, 2000 in Old City at 216 Market Street on the corner of Strawberry & Market. We operated successfully; earning the patronage of hundreds of repeat customers. We were accepted in Old City.

January/February, 2003, we were told that the building could collapse due to the east facing exterior wall's lack of structural integrity. We were forced to close our fledgling business and worse yet -- our customers unable to enjoy the perfection at which they've set the bar.

April, 2003, we found an available location, a block away at 228 Market Street -- the old Norelco store. This was better than the first -- we will now be able to accomodate more than twice as many seated patrons -- and buildings on both sides hold us up.

July, 2003, we reopen our doors for business and take off better than where we left off. Welcoming back all of our regulars and tourists alike.
